Fort Worth, Texas
TCB provided traffic engineering services, a drainage study, engineering design, and all surveying services for the redevelopment of the Lancaster Avenue corridor. The redesign of Lancaster Avenue will serve as a catalyst for redevelopment in the southern end of Downtown Fort Worth, and as a means to connect Downtown more effectively with the Medical District on Fort Worth’s south side.
TCB completed a traffic study to refine the planned traffic volumes and analyzed the proposed seven signalized intersections along the corridor to develop the signal phasing and intersection requirements. TCB also performed storm drainage, roadway, and stormwater pollution prevention design. TCB evaluated the existing capacity of the storm drainage outfall system, identified problem areas, and recommended conceptual improvements to the existing system. Recommended improvements included 4,000 feet of box sewer from Lancaster Avenue to the outfall at the Clear Fork of the Trinity River.
TCB is currently providing construction phase services. |
